TIM CLEVELAND Mrs. Maxine Hicks Moore, 82, of Carthage, MS, died Thursday, March 10, 2016, at Golden Living Center in Carthage. She was born and reared in the Dixon community of Neshoba County and a graduate of Dixon High School. She married Cloyce Franklin Moore on December 22, 1951, they were blessed with three sons. She enjoyed doing creative activities. Mrs. Moore was a very active member of First Assembly of God in Carthage. Survivors include her husband, Cloyce Franklin Moore of Carthage; son, Randy Moore (Laura) of Folsom, LA; daughter-in-law, Paula Phillips of Hattiesburg; grandchildren, Amanda Edwards (Jeffery), David Moore (Ashlie), Michael Moore, Sarah Moore, and Dylan Moore; great-grandchildren, Braxton Edwards, Hayden Edwards, Sasha Moore, and Vincent Moore; sisters, Cassie Moore, Willie Loper, Joyce Humphrey, Nancy Toten and Virginia Hall; and brother, A. J. Hicks. Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents, Malcolm and Mattie Elizabeth Hardy Hicks; sons, David and Eddie Moore, and sister Mildred Gainey.Pallbearers were David Moore, Michael Moore, Jeffery Edwards, Frank Moore, Curtis Moore and Steve Moore. Honorary pallbearers were Dylan Moore and Darrell Loper.
