OLIVE CEMETERY(STEPHENSTOWN)Mrs. Mattie Lou Creighton, 87, of Philadelphia, MS, died Thursday, March 10, 2016, at The Specialty Hospital of Meridian. She was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County. She retired from Nemanco as an inspector. Survivors include her son, Delane Creighton (Della) of Philadelphia; two grandchildren, Dewayne Creighton and Shalane Creighton; one great-grandchild; one great-great-grandchild; three stepsons, Anthony Fox of Philadelphia, Christopher Fox of Brandon, Corey Logan of Newton; one stepdaughter, Casey Murphy of Philadelphia; nine step-grandchildren; sisters, Martha Ann “Mott” Marsh of Philadelphia, Bonnie Rucker of Newton, Linda Watkins of Union, Bessie Ford of Philadelphia, Lessie Chunn of Philadelphia, and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Creighton was preceded in death by her husband, Walter L. Creighton; parents and two sisters.Pallbearers were Dewayne Creighton, Shalane Creighton, Delane Creighton, Anthony Fox, Corey Logan and Jaice Marsh.
