JERRY POOLE Ms. Frances Stephens Pullin, 85, of Union, died Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian. She was a native of Newton County and a longtime resident of the Prospect community. She was a retired inspector from the Shirt Factory in Union. Ms. Pullin was a member of New Ireland Baptist Church near Union. Survivors include her daughters, Laquita Jordan (Wayne) of Conehatta and Annette Green (Bobby Earl) of Conehatta; son, Sherman Stephens (Vickie) of Conehatta; grandchildren, Frankie Jordan, John Jordan, Joe Green, Emily Chancelor, Lisa Moulds and Oree Stephens; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Jo Ann McNeil of Meridian; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oree Stephens; son, Russell Stephens; sisters, Myrtie Warren and Mary Jane Murphree; and brothers, Homer McMullan and Henry McMullan. Pallbearers are Frankie Jordan, Austin Jordan, Lincoln Jordan, Joe Green, Oree Stephens and Anthony Chancelor.
