She was born and reared in Neshoba County and graduated from Philadelphia High School.  She enjoyed fishing and gardening.  Mrs. Denton was a member of Linwood Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Greg Sistrunk of Philadelphia, Daniel Denton of Union and Wayne Denton of Union; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Mrs. Denton was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her brother. Pallbearers are Billy Baysinger, Kenneth Watkins, Hubert Waddell, Jimmy Killen, Lawrence Killen and Bernie Thompson.
