ARZELL HYCHE REV. WILSON DEE HUGHES Mr. Savell, 83, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at Baptist Medical Center-Leake in Carthage. He was a native of Neshoba County and had been a resident of Leake and Neshoba Counties most of his life. He worked as a mechanic for various dealerships and then retired from MDOT as a mechanic. Mr. Savell was a member of New Blackjack Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Savell of Philadelphia; daughters, Phyllis Davis (Ranny) of Birmingham, Alabama, Vicky Moody of Madden and Pam Goss of Carthage; son, Randy Cumberland (Doylene) of Edinburg; 13 grandchildren, Dewayne Savell, Chasity Lawrence, Brandi Bryan, Kim Strickland, Joey Goss, Mandy Phillips, Dan Moody, David Moody, Justin Davis, Nikki Verlangieri, Haley Barnes, Stacey Bowden and Lori Rachal; 25 great-grandchildren, Colt Savell, Alex Savell, Chad Ballenger, Amber Savell, Jasmine Savell, Abbi White, Ashley Lawrence, Mason Lawrence, Braylee Smith, Rebecca Smith, Allie Goss, Luke Strickland, Andrew Strickland, MaKayla Strickland, Zachary Goss, Jordan Goss, Van Goss, Bryson Abel, Gavin Phillips, Ethan Phillips, Cooper Davis, Maggie Davis, Camden Bowden, Colbi Bowden and Avri Rachal; two great-great-grandchildren, Zoey Goss and Paisley Goss; sisters, Bell Adams of Edinburg, Ann Rutland of Mt. Olive and Kate Williamson of Philadelphia; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Savell was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Savell; sisters, Vadis Page and Wilma Savell; and brothers, Alvin Savell, Ernie Savell and John Savell. Pallbearers are Dan Moody, David Moody, Dewayne Savell, Joey Goss, Justin Davis, Andrew Duncan, Matthew Duncan and Ron Lawrence.
