Cassandra "Candy" Reynolds Henry

RAINES Cassandra “Candy” Reynolds Henry, 49, formerly of Philadelphia, MS, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 25, 2015.  Candy was surrounded with love from her husband, her children, her mother and one of her sisters when she died peacefully in her sleep. She got to spend Christmas with us and Jesus and she is no longer in pain from cancer. Candy lived most of her young life in the House Community of Neshoba County, MS.  After she and Shawn Henry married, college and careers took them to several places, and they were currently living in Madison, Alabama and formerly in Gulfport, MS prior for 11 years. Candy and Shawn enjoyed life together wherever it took them.  She loved children, animals, and nursing, especially being a school nurse at Three Rivers Elementary at Gulfport, MS.  She will be missed by her family and many, many, friends. Candy is survived by her husband of 31 years, Shawn; daughters, Peyton Henry and Ashlyn Henry; son, Zack Henry and wife, Stephanie; three grandchildren, Keelan, Shana and Jacy; mother, Clara Reynolds; brother, Tommy Reynolds and wife, Debbie; sisters, Donna Welborn, Cindy Cofield and husband, Greg and Pam Tillman and husband, Hicky; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families that she loved dearly. Candy was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Reynolds; brother, Harold Reynolds, Jr. and grandmother, May “Granny’ Griffith.Pallbearers were Todd Henry, Kreg Henry, Joel Henry, Greg Cofield and Hicky Tillman.
