JEFF SULLIVAN Mrs. Elizabeth McCurdy, 66, of Walnut Grove, died Friday, December 4, 2015, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian. She was born in Morton, MS on March 21, 1949.  She married John I. McCurdy.  Mrs. McCurdy loved to listen to the radio. Survivors include her sons, John McCurdy, William McCurdy, and Jerry McCurdy, all of Walnut Grove; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Diane Cheapwood of Ethel; brothers, Charles Hillman of Edinburg, and Tommy Hillman of Lena. Mrs. McCurdy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, and one brother.Pallbearers were Phillip McCurdy, Mike Holmes, Luis Olmedo, Robert Wright, Willie McCurdy and Jose Olmedo.
