KELLY TINGLEAerospace Assembly Line Worker “Rosie the Riveter” Ms. Beverly Kerske McLain, 68, of Union, died Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian after a long battle with leukemia. She was born and raised in Renton, Washington. She worked as a longshoreman and a telephone repairwoman before starting her career as an aerospace assembly worker. She retired after 20 years from Lockheed-Martin of Marion. Survivors include her daughter, Karri Ann Butler of Union; an identical twin, Barbara Jones of Olympia, WA; an older brother, Dallas “Dale” Hanes of Whidbey Island, WA; three grandsons, Brandon Dru Kerske, Montana Lee Butler and Dakota Lee Butler and several nieces and nephews. Ms. McLain was preceded in death by her parents, Dallas and Rossie Hanes and husbands, Edward “Ted” Kerske and Bennie McLain. Pallbearers are Jerry Dale Pearson, Brian “Kooter” Graham, Wayne Haralson, David Hensley, Allen Perry and Chris Perry.
