JERRY BISHOPMr. Nicholson, 80, of Philadelphia, died Monday, September 21, 2015, at his home. He was a native and longtime resident of the Linwood Community in Neshoba County.  He was retired after 32 ½ years with the Army National Guard and had served as Supervisor of Beat Four in Neshoba County for eight years.  Mr. Nicholson was a member and deacon of Linwood Baptist Church. He was a member of The Gideons International and was a Mason. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Charlotte Nicholson of Philadelphia; sons, Glenn Nicholson and wife, Debra of Philadelphia and Mark Nicholson and wife, JoAnn of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Nicole Goforth and husband, Jason, Matt Nicholson and wife, Mary Ann, Tyler Nicholson and wife, Taylor and Madison House and husband, Lance; great-grandchildren, Jake Goforth, Riley Goforth, Brayden Nicholson and Knox Nicholson; and sisters, Reba Johns of Mobile, Ala., Shelby Wilson of Casa Grande, Ariz., and Margaret Hardy of Philadelphia. Mr. Nicholson was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and CeCe Nicholson and his brother, Horace Nicholson.Pallbearers were Tyler Nicholson, Matt Nicholson, Lance House, Jason Goforth, Randy Nicholson and Dewayne Nicholson.
