He was a native of the Sipsy community in Neshoba County. He was a resident of Philadelphia and later the Dixon community for the past several years.  He had served with the Mississippi Highway Patrol for the past nine years and worked for Piggly Wiggly in Collinsville for the past 12 years.  Mr. Triplett was a member of Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Neshoba County. Survivors include his wife, Tracy Triplett of Philadelphia; daughter, Markita Triplett of Philadelphia; son, Quinton Triplett of Philadelphia; father and stepmother, Willie B. and Mary Ruth Triplett of Philadelphia; sisters, Ebony Triplett of Philadelphia, Tammy Moore of Philadelphia, Sheon Jones of Philadelphia, Angela Thomas of Meridian and Toni Kirkland; brother, Charles Hunt of Indianapolis, IN; and special cousin, Ashley Coleman.
