BILLY WARSAW Mr. Davis, 81, of DeKalb, MS, died Saturday, August 1, 2015, at Regency Hospital in Meridian. He was a native and lifelong resident of the Bluff Springs community in Kemper County.  He was a logger most of his life and owner of Henry Davis and Sons Logging. Mr.  Davis was  a member of Bluff Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Modene Davis of DeKalb; daughter, Beverly Heimann (Rick) of Bailey; sons, Ray Davis (Kim), and Chad Davis (Gwen), all of DeKalb; grandchildren, Christopher Heimann, Ellen Nichols, Thad Davis (Laura), Adam Davis, Kyle Davis (Kristi), and Brittany Davis; great-grandchildren, Ava Nichols, Logan, Eli, Whitley, and Garrett Davis; sisters, Melba Shumate (Lee), and Lennie Reed, both of Meridian; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, Elvin and Chestine Davis, and his brother, Jack Davis. Pallbearers will be Christopher Heimann, Thad Davis, Kyle Davis, Logan Davis, Mitchell Madison, and Tanner Stovall.  Honorary pallbearers will be Melba Dean Allen, Tommy Gully, and Derek Davis. Memorials may be made to Bluff Springs Cemetery Fund.
