He was born in Chicago, Illinois to his parents, Frederick and Helen Knoche. Jack graduated from Plant High School and the University of Florida where he was a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. He worked in Personnel Management for V.C. Chemical, W.T. Edwards TB Hospital, retiring from the State of Florida Health Rehabilitative Services. Jack was a member of Civitan, The Tampa Masonic Lodge and a longtime member of the Temple Terrace United Methodist Church. He was also an avid Gator football fan. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Hilda Barnett Knoche, formerly of the Laurel Hill community; daughters, Mary Alison Anderson (Scott) and Jolynn Sessions (Todd); grandchildren, Tyler Anderson, Amanda Ward (Christian), Sara, Rebecca and Rachel Sessions.Pallbearers were Todd Sessions, Scott Anderson, Steve Barnett, Earl Jackson, Bruce Lewis, Bill Willis, Troy Simmons and Lamar Barnett.
