DAVID UPSHAWINTERMENT: SANDTOWN CEMETERYMinneola Rutledge Stokes, 87, passed away July 22, 2015, at the Neshoba County General Hospital-Nursing Home. Mrs. Stokes was born October 9, 1927, in Sumter County, Ala. She was a retired dairy farmer in the Bond Community of Neshoba County and a member of Sandtown United Methodist Church. Mrs. Stokes was preceded in death by her husband, Hoy E. Stokes and her parents, Will and Ada Ann McKenzie Rutledge. She is survived by her three children, The Rev. Ray E. Stokes and Lynn of Wiggins, Aletha and Dr. James McKinion of Starkville, and Sherrel D. Stokes and Mary of Philadelphia; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
