LAWRENCE POOL Mrs. Luke, 89, of Preston, MS., died Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Choctaw Residential Center. She was a native and lifelong resident of the Prince Chapel community in Kemper County.  Mrs. Luke was a charter member of Coy United Methodist Church. She had worked for a number of years at Kemper County Hospital.  Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Wilson (James E.) of DeKalb; daughter-in-law, Donna Luke; sister-in-law, Marcelene Luke; grandchildren, Debora W. McMahon of DeKalb, Candace Luke Jenkins of Preston, Michelle Luke Whittle of Philadelphia, Dana W. McDade (Ben) of Porterville, Christina Luke and Donnie Luke (Lisa), both of Preston; 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. Mrs. Luke was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel E. Luke; sons, Don H. Luke and Phil B. Luke, Sr.; grandson, Phil B. Luke, Jr., and grandson-in-law, Gregory McMahon.Pallbearers were Donnie Luke, Zach Whittle, Mike Luke, Danny Copeland, Luke Cumberland, Lee Call, Cassidy Jenkins.  Honorary pallbearers were C. A. Luke, Jayden Jenkins, Wendell Stokes, Raymond Davis and Heath Stokes.
