BRAD SLIGER  Mrs. Jones, 88, of Meridian, died Sunday, July 5, 2015, at The Oaks in Meridian. She was a native of Neshoba County.  She lived in Jackson until she retired and moved to Meridian where she had made her home for the past 20 years.  Survivors include her daughters, Dorothy Jean Odom (Cecil) of Jackson and Betty Scruggs of Meridian; sons, George Douglas Dearman (Dawn) of Meridian and James Dearman, Sr. (Doris) of Florence; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Dearman and second husband, Curtis Jones; sister, Rachel Yates; and brothers, Melvin Smith and Bill Smith.Pallbearers were Randy Powell, Greg Ward, James Douglas Dearman, David Dearman, Brady Dearing, Dexter Hubbard and Travis Griffis.
