MIKE MILESREV. BILLY WARSAWMr. Davis, 44, of DeKalb, died Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian. He was born and reared in the Bluff Springs community of Kemper County where he made his home all of his life. Mr. Davis was a member of Spanish Oak Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Davis of DeKalb; sons, Tanner Stovall of DeKalb and Derek Davis of DeKalb; parents, Kaye and Doug Johnson of Philadelphia, and the late Jack D. Davis; best friend and cousin, Chad Davis of DeKalb; sister, Wendi Joseph (Gus) of Caledonia; and brothers, Richie Davis (Mitzi) of Meridian, Larron Johnson of Philadelphia, and Harbert Johnson of Philadelphia. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his sister, Kristi Kaye Davis. Pallbearers are Tanner Stovall, Tyler Stovall, Chad Davis, Matthan Joseph, Chris George, and Stan Nowell.
