MACK ALFORDMrs. Crenshaw, 84, of Union, died Sunday, April 19, 2015, at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. She was a native of Neshoba County and longtime resident of the Dixon community.  She previously lived in Joliet, Illinois, for 32 years. She was owner/operator of Crenshaw Drapery in Union.  Mrs. Crenshaw was a member of Beacon Street Baptist Church and was very active in community affairs. Survivors include her daughters, Linda Joyce (John) of Fairhope, AL, and Claudia Smith (Ricco) of Union; daughters-in-law, Sybil Crenshaw of Pearl and Diane Crenshaw of St. Petersburg, FL; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchilden; sisters, Ina Hughes of Grass Valley, CA and Jeffolette Watkins of Philadelphia; brothers, Therrel Ballinger (Doris) of Evergreen, AL, Gerald Ballinger (Caroline) of Forts Lake, and Coy Ballinger (Ina) of Pascagoula; a host of nieces, nephews, and their families; and a special friend, Toni Stovall of Philadelphia. Mrs. Crenshaw was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph James Crenshaw; sons, David Crenshaw and Dennis Crenshaw; parents, Mose and Josephine Ballinger; sisters, Thyra Williams and Johnnie Ruth Hooper; and brother, James Ballinger.
