JAMIE LEACH, JEFFREY NELSON, ADRIAN ACHATZ AND CHANCE FORTENBERRYTracy Ray Castleman, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and much more, died Monday, April 13, at North Mississippi Medical Center. His family was with him, to comfort him at the time of his passing. Tracy was born January 28, 1962, in Columbia, Missouri.Tracy was preceded in death by his mother and father, Norma and Roy Castleman. He is survived by his wife, Janna, step-children, Summer Cumberland (Dustin) and Chance Fortenberry, two wonderful grandchildren, a brother, Dick Meyer, and sister, Joyce Nelson (Butch), brother-in-law, Steve Bozeman (Dianne) and sister-in-law, Lisa Bozeman, mother-in-law, Bobbie Chaney Bozeman, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Tracy will truly be missed.From 1994 to 2004 and also from 2008 to 2015, Tracy was an executive chef of the Pearl River Resort, overseeing all six of the casino's restaurants. In 1999 Tracy was inducted into the Epicurean World Master Chefs Society, at the time he was the 10th American to receive this honor. Tracy had a joy of being around his family, especially his two grandchildren, cooking and watching Missouri Football, MIZZOU and The Kansas City Chiefs. Tracy will be remembered for his Love of the outdoors, whether it be hunting or cutting the grass, Tracy could always be found outside enjoying nature.
