MCCLAIN-HAYS CHAPELVISITATION:  SATURDAY, APRIL 4, 201512:00 NOON UNTIL SERVICE TIMEINTERMENT:  GOLDEN GROVE CEMETERY Mr. Stuart, 86, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, April 2, 2015, at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.He was a native of the Arlington community in Neshoba County and longtime resident of Philadelphia.  He worked as a Riverboat Captain for over 35 years.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served as a paratrooper.  Mr. Stuart was a member of Grace Baptist Church and attended First Church of God. Survivors include his wife, Alorine Stuart of Philadelphia; sons, Mickey Johnson of Milton, Florida, and Phil Johnson of Pasadena, Texas; grandchildren, Michelle Spencer of Pensacola, Florida, Mitch Johnson of Pensacola, Florida, Dean Johnson of Philadelphia, Nathan Johnson of Philadelphia, Judd Johnson of Houston, Texas, and Micah Johnson of Houston, Texas; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis Melton of Philadelphia, Gayulor Hall of Philadelphia, Tina Allen of Escatawpa, and Ruth Burchfield of Wade; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mr. Stuart was preceded in death by his son, Don Johnson; sister, Charlotte Smith; and brothers, Granville Stuart and Phillip Stuart. Pallbearers were Mitch Johnson, Micah Johnson, Randy Thrash, Nathan Johnson, Danny Joe Thrash, and Larry Rickles.  Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Stuart, Donnie Stuart, and Ricky Barfoot.
