He was a native and longtime resident of the Coonshuck community in Neshoba County. He formerly worked as a supervisor for Garan and Nemanco. Mr. Holland was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Navy during Korea and 16 years in the Air National Guard in Meridian. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Lois Holland of Philadelphia; daughters, Lynn Holland Benson (Bob) of Philadelphia and Gail Gray (Jimmy) of Philadelphia; son, Howard Holland (Debbie) of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Tommy Holland (Sharon) of Philadelphia, Jason Holland (Misty) of Philadelphia, Sarah Satterfield of Atlanta, GA, Nathan Benson (Mandi) of Opelika, AL, Erin Knight (Barry) of Philadelphia and Patrick Gray (Mandie) of Philadelphia; great-grandchildren, Haley Holland, Tyler Holland, Avery Kate Holland, Sofie Satterfield, Irene Benson, Rowan Benson, Phoebe Benson, Sam Knight, Jake Knight, Gavin Gray and Maddie Gray; sisters, Esther Michel of New Orleans, LA, and Sally Vogel of Stahlstown, PA; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mr. Holland was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Kate Holland; great-grandchildren, Parker Thomas Holland and Kenan Isaac Gray; sister, Mary Elizabeth Hover; and brothers, James Holland, Joe Holland and Jerome Holland.Pallbearers were Tommy Holland, Jason Holland, Patrick Gray, Nathan Benson, Tyler Holland and Barry Knight. Honorary pallbearers Sam Knight, Jake Knight, Johnny Cutrer and Gavin Gray.
