DENNIS DUVALLMary Crawford Hardy passed away March 7th 2015 at the Choctaw Residential Center in Choctaw, Ms. She was born May 18,1929 to Clay and Mae Crawford from the Forestdale Community and graduated from Philadelphia High School in 1947. Mary married Dewitt Hardy (son of Alford and Janie Sharp Hardy) in 1947. Most of Mary’s career was with Wells-Lamont as Office Manager/ Supervisor in Philadelphia and Memphis, Tn. Mary and Dewitt moved to Memphis with Wells-Lamont in 1970. During retirement she and D enjoyed camping and traveling with family and friends. After residing in Memphis for 34 years they returned to Neshoba County in 2004, making their home in the Hope Community, where she was an active member of Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sybil Hood and brothers, Bernard and Forrest Crawford. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Dewitt Hardy; 3 sons, Allen (Nancy), Kevin, and John; daughter, Penny Stanton; grandchildren, Andy (Penny) Hardy, Jenny (Andy) Dabbs, Ben (Hannah) Hardy, and Shane Stanton; great grandchildren, Grace and Henry Dabbs and Nicholas and Georgia Hardy.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
