MACK ALFORDINTERMENT: COOKS CHAPEL CEMETERYMr. Thomas, 82, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. He was a native of the Shady Grove community in Neshoba County and longtime Neshoba County resident. He formerly worked as an industrial engineer for U.S. Motors in Philadelphia, Gould Corporation in Lexington, TN, and Westinghouse in Alamo, TN. Mr. Thomas was a member of Mt. Nelson Baptist Church. He was a Mason and a member of Philadelphia Country Club. He served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany during the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his wife, Faye Thomas of Philadelphia; daughters, Dianne Thomas Bozeman (Steve) of Philadelphia and Debbie Thomas McCaslin (Billy) of Lexington, TN; sons, Scott Thomas (Wendy) of Union and John Thomas of Wesson; grandchildren, Molly Rhodes, Kerry McCaslin, Thomas McCaslin, Drew Bozeman, Morgan Bozeman, Katy Thomas Bateman and Harrison Thomas and great-grandchild, Ella Grace Rhodes. Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, John S. and Mary Bell Warren Thomas; sisters, Evelyn Perkins, Clara Bell Sanders, Emma Jean Webb and Frances Williams and brothers, Abe, John Scott, Jim, Bo and Sam Thomas. Pallbearers were Kerry McCaslin, Thomas McCaslin, Drew Bozeman, Morgan Bozeman, Harrison Thomas, Stevens Bateman and Robin Rhodes.
