MARK MCDONALDINTERMENT:  HERBERT CEMETERYMrs. Butts, 70, of Union, died Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian. She was a native of Neshoba County and a longtime resident of the Neshoba community.  She retired as a seamstress from Midland Shirt Factory in Union. Mrs. Butts was a member of Herbert Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Bro. Clyde Butts of Union; daughter, Vickie McRorey of Collinsville; sons, Jimmy Butts of Philadelphia and Carl Butts of Union; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mattie Pearl Carter of Decatur, Johnnie Kate Kitrell of Decatur, Bonnie Ruth Chaney of Decatur and Shirley Ann Griffin of Union; and several nieces, nephews and their families. Mrs. Butts was preceded in death by her daughter, Martha Butts; granddaughter, Samantha Butts; parents, J.C. and Nellie Kate Watson; sister, Mary Frances Tatum and an infant sister, Nellie Jean Watson. Pallbearers will be Mitchell Stephens, Freddie Stephens, Bryan Stephens, Kenneth Ellingburg, Randy Flake, Randy Cumberland, Clarence Kitrell and Jerry Purser.
