GREG POWERSSISTER CLARA MOORE Mr. Beem, 77, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at home. He was a native of Carlisle, Iowa.  He served in the U.S. Air Force in Korea and Vietnam retiring in 1974.  After service he moved to Neshoba County and worked as an offshore electrician.  Mr. Beem was Baptist by faith. Survivors include his daughter, Beth Young of Philadelphia; son, Gerald R. Beem, II of Edinburg; six grandchildren; sister, Karen Fredell of Iowa; brothers, Don Beem of Florida and Allen Beem of Iowa; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mr. Beem was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Moore Beem in 2002. Pallbearers will be Colby Beem, Jacob Fedrick, Brandon Fedrick, Chip Beem, Lucas Fedrick, and Katelyn Fedrick.
