KERMIT SHARPINTERMENT: CEDARLAWN CEMETERY Ms. Critz, 61, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, December 27, 2014 at her home. She was a native and longtime resident of Philadelphia. She graduated from the Mississippi University for Women with a degree in Interior Design and Art, and participated in the Blue Fins Aquatic Team and the Rosette Sorority. She taught Early Childhood Development for the Choctaw Tribal Schools in Conehatta and Bogue Chitto. While living in Maryland, she also did teaching in the Adult GED and Special Needs Programs. Her church affiliations were in the First United Methodist Church in her childhood and in 1971 in Ocobla Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Jessie Foster (Alton) of Philadelphia; son, John Critz of Hattiesburg; granddaughter, Maddilyn Foster; mother, Sammie Carter Sharp (Kermit) of Philadelphia; sister, Donna Alford (Herman Jr.) of Philadelphia; nieces, Charleigh Alford and Madison Alford and nephew, Andrew Alford.Ms. Critz was preceded in death by her father, Madison Fulton.Pallbearers were Mac Burt, Milton Critz, Ray Brown, Abe Thomas, David Carter, Brad Carter, Don Fulton and Andrew Alford.
