BEN MCDANIEL Mrs. Apperson, 90, of Philadelphia, died Monday, December 8, 2014 at Choctaw Residential Center in Choctaw. She was a native and longtime resident of the Beatline community in Neshoba County. She retired as a waitress from the Benwalt Coffee Shop.  Mrs. Apperson was a member of Beatline Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Cooke (John) of Philadelphia and Glenda Hillman of Albuquerque, New Mexico; daughters-in-law, Darnell Apperson of Union and Becky Cook of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Heidi Terrell (Allen), Kelly Johnson (Cory), Carolyn Hillman, Lea Ann Hillman, Jeremy Apperson (Samantha) and William Anderson; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Alice Hardy of Philadelphia and Lessie Killen of Philadelphia; and several nieces, nephews and their families. Mrs. Apperson was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Apperson; sons, Larry Apperson and Jerry Apperson; and brothers, Alfred Sharp, Arzene Sharp and Buddy Sharp. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Apperson, Cory Johnson, Allen Terrell, Ron Hardy, Jim Banks Smith and William Anderson.
