RAY LUKELeona was born in Louisville on January 29, 1955 and passed away on November 22, 2014, at Regency Hospital in Meridian. A resident of Bond Community in Neshoba County, Leona spent her first eight years at home. She then spent six years at the Mississippi Hospital School for Cerebral Palsy in Jackson, where she made many lasting friendships. Leona is remembered for her ready smile, her generous spirit and her love of animals. She loved working puzzles, writing letters, making new friends, and being able to brighten someone else’s day. A longtime member of North Bend United Methodist Church, she was a dedicated Christian who truly wanted to show her love for others in her actions. Leona is survived by her mother, Prudie E. Fulton of Philadelphia, MS; two sisters, Jacque Barnett (John) of Pearl, MS and Mary Gail Fulton of Philadelphia, MS; and nieces, Wendy Barnett and Stacey Cain, both of Pearl, MS. She was preceded in death by her father, William Ernest Fulton of Philadelphia, MS. Pallbearers will be Mason Ruf, Philip Pienta, Steve Nance, Don Fulton, Sam Tingle, and Billy Robertson.
