Bernice was born in Shanghai, China on November 23, 1952. Bernice was a housekeeper for many families and enjoyed helping others as was shown in the work she did. She was an avid animal lover and spent a great deal of her time loving and spoiling all animals she encountered. Bernice was a selfless woman who could often be found doing anything to beautify her surroundings. She knew the importance of hard work and didn’t stop until the job was done. Bernice was a wonderful cook and enjoyed sharing her culture with others through food.She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Holland. She is survived by one daughter, Charlene Roberts and Godson Dyron Talbert both of Philadelphia, Mississippi, many friends and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were David Turk, Tyler Turk, Mac Burt, Howard Holland, Jim Holland, Brian Hicks, Tommy Holland and Jason Holland.
