SCOTT HARRELLAnderson Marcel Hall was born on April 16, 1933, to Thurman and Thellis Hall.  He spent his childhood with brothers Ed, Russell, Bobby, and Mike, and sisters Betty and Patsy. He married Martha Sue Marshall on February 12, 1954, and soon started a family—Lynn, Gary, and Beth, followed by Christina who was adopted as a baby, all of whom he loved and provided for all his life. Family events followed bringing with it daughter-in-law Polly and son-in-laws James, Jeff, and William. Grandchildren were added—Nick, Olivia, Neal, Mallory, Danny, Juan, and Anna.  They stole his heart. A couple of weddings later brought Stefanie and Rayford—the perfect addition to the family. The grand finale came in the form of six great grandchildren—Eliot, Rafe, Ava, Caroline, Julia Kate, and Emma Sue.  There went what was left of his heart. His Christian Faith and church participation was an important part of Anderson’s life serving as a deacon, Sunday school teacher, song leader, and member of the choir. At his death he was a member of Antioch Baptist Church—a Church Family he loved dearly. Anderson spent his spare time growing tomatoes, tending two huge vegetable gardens, assisting his neighbors, and helping raise great grandchildren. As life moved on Anderson was preceded in death by his parents Thurman and Thellis, his brothers Arden, Ed and Russell, and his sisters Betty and Patsy. He is survived by his wife Sue, all his children and their spouses, grandchildren and their spouses, great grandchildren, brothers Bobby and Mike, special in-laws Jo Hall, Fay Hall, Will Woods, Betty Hall, Pam Hall, Frances and Bill Johnson, John and Lynda Marshall, Lucille and Felton Myatt, special nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends. With his death the family circle may be smaller, but the bond of love and faith he provided make the circle forever strong. Pallbearers were Chad Penson, Michael Reynolds, Gary Jones, Mike Dallas, Stanley Bishop and Darron Smith.
