DEE HUGHES Mrs. Wilcher, 88, died Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Baptist Leake Extended Care Facility in Carthage. She was a native of Neshoba County and lived in Leake County most of her life.  She retired from Carthage Corp. at age 64.  Mrs. Wilcher was a member of Edinburg United Pentecostal Church. Survivors include her daughters, Glenda Jenkins (Ronald) of Philadelphia and Jan Wilcher (Cody) of Philadelphia; sons, Waudell Wilcher (Linda) of Morton, Gary Wade Wilcher (Linda) of Carthage, James Harold Wilcher (Barbara) of Carthage, and Randall Odell Wilcher (Robin) of Carthage; 19 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Willa Williamson of Philadelphia and Bobbie Graham of Philadelphia; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wilcher was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Odell Wilcher; sister, Gladys Savell; and brothers, Claudie McCrory and Jessie “Demp” Cockrell. Pallbearers will be Larry Wilcher, David Wilcher, Paul Wilcher, James Eddie Moore, Mitch Pike, James Wilcher, Joe Wilcher, Ken Robinson, and Michael Ogden.
