DAVEY WILKINSON Mr. May, 82, died Monday, September 15, 2014 at Mississippi State Veterans Home in Kosciusko. He was a native of the Forestdale community and lifelong resident of Neshoba County.  He was retired from Mississippi State Department of Health where he worked as a special investigator. He worked at McClain-Hays Funeral Home as assistant funeral director for several years.  Mr. May was a member of Cooks Chapel United Methodist Church and attended First United Methodist Church in Philadelphia.  He served as board member and past president of Farm Bureau in Neshoba County.  He was director of East Mississippi Farmers Livestock Association.  Mr. May was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of American Legion Post 138 for 55 years. Survivors include his wife, Loretta May of Philadelphia; daughters, Tammy Watkins (Don) of Brandon and Maria Sisson (Jim) of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Felicity Robbins (Walt), Josh Cook (Beth),  Angela Fryery (Stephen), Don H. Watkins (Laura), John Forrest Sisson, Adrienne Sisson and Sydney Sisson; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn Williamson, Sarah Luke and Shirley Sharp, of Philadelphia; brothers, Charles May and James May, of Philadelphia, and several nieces, nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Jack May.Pallbearers were Mark Molpus, Hugh Barrier, Tim Harrison, Danny Williamson, Felton Myatt and John Marshall.  Honorary pallbearers were Josh Cook, John Forrest Sission, Ken Williams, Tom Wallace Cox, Harold Lewis, Board of East MS Farmers Livestock Co. and Board of Farm Bureau - Neshoba County.
