JIMMY TOWNSENDMrs. Clara Barton, 70, of West Helena, AR, formerly of Philadelphia, MS, died Thursday, August 14, 2014 at North Delta Hospice and Palliative Services in Southaven, MS. She was born in Neshoba County and had lived in Phillips County, Arkansas most of her life.  She enjoyed gardening, traveling and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughters, Rita Bennett (Thomas) and Cathy Gschwend (Ricky), all of West Helena, AR, Patricia Pannell (Jerry) of Red Banks, MS, Catina Crawford (Johnny) of Bethpage, TN. and Lola Beckham  (Tony) of Philadelphia, MS; sons, David Barton (Diane) of Monett, AR , Timothy Terry (Barbara) of West Helena, AR, Billy Terry, Jr. (Donna) of Marks, MS, James Barton, Sr. and Bruce Terry, both of West Helena, AR; 39 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, May O’neal of Marvell, AR, Annie Grantham of Bethpage, TN and Maggie Myers of Philadelphia, MS; brothers, Kenneth Gentry of Marvell, AR and Mitchell Gentry of McComb, MS and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mrs. Barton was preceded in death by her parents, George and Pearl Gentry; daughter, Amanda Barton, one sister and three brothers.Pallbearers were Jake Rich, Jerry Pannell, Sr., Patrick Harper, Jonathan Cossey, Tony Beckham, Jr., Bryce Alex Terry, Benjamin Watkins and Frankie Pritchett.  Honorary pallbearers Junior Davis , James Barton, Jr., Bryan Ford, Chazz Faqua, Tristan Young, Ricky Gschwend, Tony Beckham, Sr., Billy Bruce Terry, David Gheen and Blake Watkins.
