LEE WATSON Mrs. Thornton, 79, of Morton, died Monday, July 28, 2014 at Mississippi Care Center of Morton. She was a native of Kemper County and lived most of her life in Hinds County. Mrs. Thornton was Assembly of God by faith. Survivors include her sons, Tim Goodin of Morton and Jeff Goodin (Patricia) of Preston; grandchildren, Michael Goodin (Denise), Brandi Goodin, Erika Goodin, and Amanda Fulcher (Randy); great-grandchildren, Jaress Goodin, Katlyn Goodin, Hadley Goodin, Braydon Fulcher, and Addison Fulcher; longtime friend, Jerry Thrash of Morton; brothers, James J. Fox (Eddie Pearl) of Shuqualak, Johnny Fox (Faye) of Preston, and Fronie Cumberland (Patricia) of Carthage; sisters, Gladys Wilson of Florence, Annie Mae Miles of Raymond, and Erma Ruth Robertson (Charlie) of Philadelphia; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Thornton was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Thornton.Pallbearers were Nick Wilson, Dennis Miles, Nick Branning, Tyrone Tank, John Beal and Micheal Goodin.  Honorary pallbearers were Braydon Fulcher and Jaress Goodin.
