RAY SPENCEMr. Mabry, 78, of Little Rock, MS, died Monday, May 19, 2014 at Bedford Care Center of Marion in Marion, Mississippi. He was a native of Newton County and a longtime resident of the Antioch community of Neshoba County. He retired from the Maintenance Department of Anderson Hospital in Meridian. Mr. Mabry was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He loved his family, had many friends in the community, and loved to help in any way he could. He would visit and talk with anyone. He enjoyed working in his garden and growing vegetables to give to his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Butler Mabry of Antioch; daughter, Chris Woods; sons, Bryan Mabry (Debbie) and Jerry Mabry, all of Dallas, TX; two grandsons; stepsons, Chuck Butler (Lisa) , Dewayne Butler (Sharon), all of Meridian and David Butler of Jackson; seven step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Sylvia Bishop of Antioch; Dale Brown (Calvin) of Toomsuba and Teresa Buster (James) of El Paso, TX; brothers, Ken Mabry (Mary) of Jackson, Wayne Mabry (Mary) of South Carolina, Slick Mabry of Marion, Steve Mabry and Willie Joe Pierce (Linda), all of Antioch and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Willie Mae Pierce; stepdad, Morris Pierce; father, J. D. Mabry, stepmother, Nancy Mabry and brother, Don Mabry.Pallbearers were Stanley Bishop, Virgil Rigdon, Mike Johnson, Stanley Covington, Robert Covington, Danny Ray Mabry and Michael Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Rigdon, Tommy Rigdon, Mike Miller, Ricky Griffith, Tony Miller and Jimmy Shelton.
