MARCUS LINTONMr. O’Briant, 65, of Meridian, died Thursday, May 8, 2014 at his home. He was a native of Neshoba County and a former resident of Tennessee and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He had lived in Meridian for the past three years. He was a retired iron worker/welder. Mr. O’Briant was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Whynot. Survivors include his daughters, Penny O’Briant of Winona, Tina O’Briant of Grenada, Janice Stevens of Winona, Melissa Bradley of Pass Christian, and Bobbi Cappo of Pass Christian; son, Brad Bynum of Meridian; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Billy O’Briant of Union; and sister, Jeri Dawn Lambert of Woodville. Mr. O’Briant was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie O’Briant and parents, Clarence and Lucille O’Briant.Pallbearers were Harold Magee, George Haley, Clyde Coker, Dylan O'Briant, Tommy Bynum, Chris O'Briant, Brady Dearing and Lonnie Stevens. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, Bethany Baptist Church Men’s Ministries or a charity of your choice.
