DON COOK Mr. Watkins, 57, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. He was a lifelong resident of the Dixon community in Neshoba County.  He retired from Neshoba County Schools as a math teacher and was currently employed at Lowe’s in Philadelphia.  Mr. Watkins was a member of Dixon Fire Department where he served as assistant chief. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Watkins of Philadelphia; daughter, Rebecca Watkins Parker and her husband, Jacob of Flowood; mother, Jeffolette Watkins of Philadelphia; sisters, Iba Dean Graham and her husband, Richard, Iva Jean Gilmer and her husband, Larry, Toni McKinion and her husband, Danny, and Debbie Ladd, all of Philadelphia; and brothers, Kenneth Watkins of Conifer, CO and Rodney Ladd of Philadelphia. Mr. Watkins was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Louise Watkins. Pallbearers are Lewis Gorum, Larry Adkins, John Bates, Wayne Hartsell, Danny Griffin, Donnell Boler, and Billy Thaggard.  Honorary pallbearers are past and present members of Dixon Fire Department and Lowe’s family.
