JAMES SHULLREV. FRED BRITTONMr. Fulton, 90, of Philadelphia, MS, died Friday, March 21, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Louisville, MS and had been a longtime resident of the Deemer community of Neshoba County. He was retired owner/operator of Deemer Lumber Company. He was a veteran pilot of the U.S. Army Air Corps (Air Force) during World War II. Mr. Fulton was a longtime active member of First United Methodist Church of Philadelphia and associate member of Flora United Methodist Church. He was a former member of the Rotary Club and former Director of Bank of Philadelphia. Survivors include his daughter, Susan Barnett of Flora; two grandchildren, Brian Risher of Flora and Julia Kelly of Palestine, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Taylor Kelly, Mattie Kelly and Sophie Risher; several nieces, nephews and their families. Mr. Fulton was preceded in death by his spouse, Carolyn Myers Fulton; infant granddaughter; parents, W. T. “Will” Fulton, Sr. and Bessie Fulton; sisters, Edith Johnson, Bettye Wingate, Martha Harris and brother, Taylor Fulton.Pallbearers were Terry Jordan, Andy King, Rex Rounsaville, David Johnson, David Vowell, Eric Prince, Dr. Duane Stokes and Jerry Harris. Honorary pallbearers were Don Windham, Dr. Grant Guild, Dr. Henry Gipson, Thomas Harvey Fulton, Larry Mills and Tom Johnson.
