UNTIL SERVICE TIMEFIRST BAPTIST CHURCH ELKHART, INDIANAINTERMENT:  LITTLE PINE CEMETERYGOSHEN, INDIANALynette Marie (Perry) Carter, 47, of Noxapater, Miss. and formerly of Elkhart, Ind. passed away Saturday evening, February 15, 2014 at her residence.   Lynette was born on August 7, 1966 in Elkhart to Charles and Karen (Frame) Perry. Lynette married Rob G. Carter on September 21, 2002 in Gatlinburg, Tenn. Rob survives, as well as sons Brandon Abel of Elkhart and Dallas Carter, currently serving in the U.S. Marine Corp; daughter, Christina Carter of Perry, Ga., and a granddaughter Sarah Swoape of Elkhart. In addition, her sister Jantha (Damion) Corp of Elkhart, parents Charles and Karen Perry of Elkhart and several nieces and nephews survive as well.  Lynette was preceded in death by her daughter Miranda Hapner. Lynette moved from Elkhart to Noxapater about three years ago, she was working for Neshoba General Hospital in the Admitting Department in Philadelphia, Miss. for the past 2 years. She graduated from Elkhart Memorial High School and received her Associates Degree from Harrison College. Lynette was an amazing wife, loving mother, daughter and friend. She never knew a stranger and had a smile and personality that would light up any room. She will be dearly missed. Services celebrating Lynette’s life will begin at 1:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 24, 2014 at the First Baptist Church 53953 County Road 17, Bristol, IN 46507.   Pastor Phil Byers will officiate. Lynette will be laid to rest next to her daughter Miranda, at Little Pine Cemetery, Goshen. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be shared with United Cancer Services of Elkhart Co.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart, where condolences may be sent to her family by visiting www.billingsfuneralhome.com
