WILLIAM SAVELLMr. Pierce, 80, died Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at his residence.He was born and reared in the Bethsaida community of Neshoba County where he made his home all of his life.  Mr. Pierce was a member of Bethsaida Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Dorothy Pierce; sons, Glen (Sue) Pierce and Kenny (Lisa) Pierce; grandchildren, Wade (Amanda) Pierce, Tyler (Chelsea) Pierce, Brandon, Haley, Reagan and Corey Pierce; and great-grandchildren, Whitley Pierce and Bella Whittle, all of Philadelphia; sister, Nadine Weatherford of Spanish Fort, AL; and sisters-in-law, Sunshine Pierce of Philadelphia and Bettie Pierce of Steamboat Springs, CO. Mr. Pierce was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Annie Pierce; sisters, Norma Winstead, Mildred Savell, Winnie Savell, and Imogene Pierce; and brothers, Buford Pierce and Oren Pierce. Pallbearers were Robert Hall, Kevin Smith, Edwin Hardy, Lenny Pierce, Rodney Ridout, Tim Mowdy, Maxie Savell, and Zack Winstead. Honorary pallbearers were Jeff Winstead, W. J. Bates, Edwin Hardy, Ralph White, Royce Smith, Clint Smith and Danny Skinner.
