RANDALL DUNAWAY Mrs. Ethredge, 89, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, January 2, 2014, at Neshoba County General Hospital.She was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County. Mrs. Ethredge was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She loved gospel music and had served as pianist in several churches and played for many gospel singings in her lifetime.Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Lamar Ethredge of Philadelphia; daughter, June Richardson and her husband, Bruce of Preston; three granddaughters, Shanna Lowrey of Preston, Suzanne White and her husband, Paul of Maryville, TN, and Krista Barrier and her husband, Shannon of Corinth; one grandson, Jason Richardson and his wife, Lynnie of Headland, AL; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; one brother, Hayes Burkes of Philadelphia; and four nieces and four nephews.Mrs. Ethredge was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Effie Burkes; and sisters, Rubye Lee Barnett and Rosalie Daniels.Pallbearers were Logan Barrier, Scott Lowrey, Stan Ethredge, Chuck Ethredge, Bryant Burkes, Bo Burkes, Michael Johnson and Ronnie Asbill.
