GREG THOMASMrs. Dunaway, 69, died Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at her home in Noxapater.She was a native of the Conehatta community in Newton County and a longtime resident of the Noxapater community in Winston County.  Mrs. Dunaway was a member of Union Ridge Baptist Church.Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Thomas of Noxapater, Patricia Gregg of Louisville, and Wanda Montgomery of Noxapater; sons, James David Dunaway of Noxapater, Robert Dunaway of Ellisville, and Stacey Dunaway of Noxapater; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Margie Bennett of Lake and Carolyn Sue Harrison of Conehatta; brother, Carlton Ray Alexander of Philadelphia; and numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.Mrs. Dunaway was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Dunaway in 2010; Infant Elmer Martin Dunaway; and parents, Robert and Nola Alexander.Pallbearers were Stacey Dunaway, Tyler Gaylord, Toby Parker, Justin Parker, Michael Kirk, Danny Jordan and Danny Sullivan.
