SERVICES: WEDNESDAY,JANUARY 1, 201411:00 A.M.HOLY ROSARY CATHOLIC CHURCHVISITATION: TUESDAY,DECEMBER 31, 20135:00-8:00 P.M.MCCLAIN-HAYSPRAYER SERVICE FOLLOWINGVISITATION AT 8:00 P.M.INTERMENT:CEDARLAWN CEMETERYOFFICIATING:FATHER BOB GOODYEARMr. Withers, 69, of Philadelphia, died Monday, December 30, 2013, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian.He was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County.  He worked offshore for many years and owned Withers Upholstery in Philadelphia for several years.  He was currently employed with Hankins Lumber Company in Grenada.  Mr. Withers was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.Mr. Withers was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Faye Browder Withers; his parents, Walter and Mary Withers; two brothers, Robert and James Withers; one niece, Brenda Holdiness and one nephew, Robert Ashley Eakes.Survivors include his daughter, Michelle L. White of Philadelphia; son, Christopher Robert Withers of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Kristy Brooks, Richard Withers, Lynn Dooley, and Billy Dewayne Withers; great-grandchild, Addie Dooley; sister, Ruth Eakes and her husband, Arthur of Philadelphia; brother, Bernice Withers and his wife, Ursula of Philadelphia; and a host of nieces and nephews.Pallbearers were Jason Gentry, Michael Withers, Andrew Giveans, Chet Eakes, Bo Ward and Charlie Gentry.
