GARY RIVERSCharles Lloyd Calvery, 62, was born December 2, 1951 in Forest, Mississippi to Beecher and Ethel Calvery. He died unexpectedly at his home in Orange Beach, AL, on Monday, December 23, 2013. He was a 1969 graduate of Forest High School where he enjoyed playing football and running track. He was a graduate of East Central Junior College and the University of Southern Mississippi. He served in the Army National Guard. He coached football for several years and was an avid fan of Ole Miss football. He retired from Entergy Grand Gulf Nuclear Station where he worked as a Senior Reactor Operator, worked in the Training Department, and also the Operations Department. Lloyd attended First United Methodist Church in Orange Beach, AL. Lloyd is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Ellen Clark Calvery, and his son, Clark Calvery. Lloyd is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Joan Calvery of Greenwell Springs, LA, his sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and David Wade of Ridal, Georgia, his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Amy and Kenny Rea of Madison, MS, his mother-in-law, Mary Clark Grimes of Philadelphia, MS, and a host of nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Beecher and Ethel Calvery, his infant twin brother and sister, Donald and Glenda Calvery, and his father-in-law, Billy Clark. Lloyd was deeply loved by his wife and son, and by his many friends.Pallbearers were Kenny Rea, Mike Tinsley, Richard Hines, Curtis Buford, Ron Jacobson, Marty McAdory and Jimmy Pryor.
