MIKE SKINNERMrs. Nicholson, 78, of Philadelphia, died Friday, October 25, 2013 at The Windsor Place in Columbus.She was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County.  Mrs. Nicholson was a member of East Philadelphia Baptist Church.Survivors include her daughter, Paula Edwards; son, Robert W. Nicholson; grandson, Eric Edwards; great-grandchildren, Evan Edwards and Rebecca Adams, all of Columbus; brother, Doyle D. (Sara) Stokes of Bonaire, GA and a host of nieces and nephews.Mrs. Nicholson was preceded in death by her parents, John Walton and Helen Green Stokes; husband, John Paul Nicholson; son, John Greggory Nicholson; sisters, Billie Jean Denmark and Ellen Barham; brother, John Green Stokes and grandson, Seth Edwards.Pallbearers were Eric Edwards, Gilbert Vowell, Larry Nicholson, Jeffery Nicholson, Willard Green and Dale Green.  The family would like to thank the caregivers at The Windsor Place, Community Hospice and Trinity Personal Care.Memorials may be made to: Benevolent Fund at Trinity Personal Care, 250 Airline Road, Columbus, MS, 39702 or St. Jude Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
