INTERMENT:  SPANISH OAK CEMETERYMr. Douglas Pilgrim, 57, of DeKalb, died Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.He was born and reared in the Calico community of Kemper County where he made his home all of his life.  Mr. Pilgrim was a member of Spanish Oak Baptist Church. He was an avid NASCAR and wrestling fan.Survivors include his mother, Louise Pilgrim of DeKalb; sister, Margie Eakes and her husband, James Ray of DeKalb; nieces, Angela Anderson and Jamie George both of Philadelphia; great-niece, Madyson George of Philadelphia and great-nephew, Zackery Anderson of Philadelphia.Mr. Pilgrim was preceded in death by his father, Paul D. Pilgrim.
