RICHARD BURKSMrs. Petty, 62, of Philadelphia, died Monday, August 12, 2013, at her home.She was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County.  She formerly worked in the cafeteria for the Philadelphia Public School System.  Mrs. Petty was a member of Pentecostal Apostolic Church in Philadelphia.Survivors include her husband, Danny Petty of Philadelphia; daughters, Amy (Glenn) Edwards of Philadelphia and Pam Petty of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Chelsee Ferris, Matthew Ferris, Cayla Ferris, Carleigh Edwards, Chloe Edwards, Trent Rush, Brandon Rush and Brianna Rush; and brother, Rev. Gene Higginbotham of House.Mrs. Petty was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Mark Petty and parents, Asbury and Evid Higginbotham.Pallbearers were Lee Woods, Dencil Bailey, Cody Boyette, Jamie Bradford, Chris Higginbotham and Jay Murphy.
