DEAN SPEED  Mr. Brown, 76, of Philadelphia, died Monday, August 5, 2013, at Anderson Regional  Medical Center in Meridian.He was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County.  He retired as a machinist from U.S. Motors in Philadelphia.  Mr. Brown was Baptist by faith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Brown of Philadelphia; daughters, Sandra Matthews and her husband, Richard of Philadelphia and Lisa Jones and her husband, Todd of Meridian; son, Roger Mark Brown and his wife, Janet of Pontotoc; step-daughter, Diane Posey of Philadelphia; step-sons, Dwayne Ridout and his wife, Kathy, Johnny Ridout and his wife, Theresa, and Rodney Ridout and his wife, Cathy, all of Philadelphia; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Hall of Philadelphia, Dorothy Storey of Morton, Verley Richardson of Philadelphia, Lucille Hodge of Forest, and Kate Dearing of Philadelphia; brothers, Hammet Brown of Moss Point and Billy Brown of Philadelphia; and a host of nieces, nephews and their families.Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, John and Gladys Brown; grandson, Jamison Mark Brown; sisters, Florence Kirkland Ryals and Madie Williamson; and brothers, Alwyn Brown and Ernest Lee Brown.Pallbearers were Matthew Brown, Jonathan Brown, Trent Ridout, Chad Ridout, Luke Storey and Johnny Ray Williamson.  Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Ridout, Adam Ridout, Colton Howell and Dylan Ridout.
