WAYNE HILL                                     REV. MACK ALFORDMrs. Hooper, 91, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. She was a native of Neshoba County and a longtime resident of  Mobile, AL before returning to Neshoba County in 2003.  Mrs. Hooper was a member of Beacon Street Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Thomas L. Dubose of New York, New York and Craig M. DuBose of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Ina (Cyril) Hughes of Grass Valley , CA, Hilda Crenshaw of Dixon and Jeffelett Watkins of Philadelphia; brothers, Gerald (Caroline) Ballinger of Forts Lake, MS, Therrell (Doris) Ballinger of Evergreen, AL and Coy McRae (Ina) Ballinger of Pascagoula; numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mrs. Hooper was preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond DuBose and William Brooks Hooper; father, Thomas Mose Ballinger; mother, Alva Mason Ballinger; mother, Josephine Milling Ballinger; sister, Thyra Williams and brother, James Ballinger.Pallbearers were Joe Spinks, Johnny Waddell, Raymond Bradley, Mac Jones, Larry Nicholson, Robbie Cheatham, Thomas Maxey and Don Stovall.
