RUSTY WALTONINTERMENT:  PLEASANT GROVE CEMETERYMr. Charles "Bud" Howington, 63, of House, died Thursday, July 4, 2013, at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.He was a longtime resident of Meridian and had resided in the House community of Neshoba County for the past several years. He was a truck driver owner/operator and formerly owned American Cab Company in Meridian for many years.  Mr. Howington was a member of Prospect Congregational Methodist Church.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of the American Legion.Survivors include his wife, Sandra Howington of House; step-daughter, Patty Poniglairo of Long Island, NY; two grandchildren; sisters, Lou Tucker (Arvis) of Little Rock and Barbara Bane (Tommy) of House; brother, Belon Howington (Ellen) of House; nieces, Sue Hearn, Patsy Rose, Raven Bane and Lina Vanesa Moreno; nephews, Jerry Tucker, James Tucker, Jason Tucker, Andres Moreno, Cristhian Moreno, Jimmy Whitehead, Lionel Whitehead and Charlie Howington; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.Mr. Howington was preceded in death by a son, Troy Nathaniel Howington; parents, Melton “Sug” and Hazel Howington; sister, Betty Diane Loper; half-sister, Viva Whittington; and half-brothers, John, Dick, Mickey and Charlie Howington. Pallbearers were Jerry Goforth, Bryan Adkins, Jerry Burke, Wayne Roberts, Tony Johnson, Danny Moore and Sonny Russell.  Honorary pallbearers were C. D. Herrington and Richard Dickerson.
