WAYNE HILL Mrs. Parkes, 62, of Kosciusko, MS, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was born and reared in Noxapater, MS but had made her home in Louisville, MS most of her life.  Mrs. Parkes was a member of West End Baptist Church in Louisville. Survivors include her daughters, Tonya  Burkett of Decatur, GA and Ashley Parkes of Kosciusko; son, William “Bill” Parkes; mother, Mavis Burkes Addkison and sister, Peggy Ingram, all of Louisville; brother, Billy Burkes of Sardis; grandchildren, Samatha Lynn Reed and Nathan Taylor Reed, both of Kosciusko and her special friend, Alan Beasley.Pallbearers were Brad Burkett, Cameron Clark, John Clark, Clarence Goodin, Ben Burkett and Brandon Wood.  Serving as honorary pallbearer was Samantha Lynn Reed.
